The green spaces and connection to nature make it a charming place to study, however, the attitude of some staff and students can make it a bit uncomfortable at times. There's an attitude of hating studying and not being passionate about your subject. The student Union tries hard to improve this with events and week-long festivals for information. However, sometimes it still feels a little impersonal. I wish there was more open lectures to attend to understand what research is being held at the university. That being said, I have enjoyed my course and studying here, the facilities are a bit modern and can feel office-y but still accommodate everyone.

The best thing about my course is that it is unstructured and allows for full control of what you want to study and how to go about this. However, sometimes I feel like there could be a continuation of the foundation module done in the first year. It would be nice to have a continued broad understanding of the topic while also being allowed to choose what we want to do as well. A focus on how we can sell ourselves in Jobs that require more specialised degrees would also be helpful. I have really enjoyed the real-life-researcher approach to assessments and I hope they continue this.

It is really expensive for what you get. It's also a key part of how you meet people in your first year which can be frustrating if - like me - you don't care for parties and drinking. The laundry isn't included and the accommodation is often really far away from food shops. It is nice that it's guaranteed for the first year but its very limited in what it offers.

The academic and support staff are very helpful and approachable and the campus and town are beautiful and feel very safe and welcoming

Very helpful and supportive course staff and lecturers and a lot of contact hours. Projects from the first year and internships give lots of chances to gain practical experience. Lots of careers support from staff and alumni. Very inclusive and friendly.

Any problems quickly fixed and all rooms and shared space new and had everything I needed. A little inconvenient to get to town, but good for campus.
