The university is great and overall I feel like I’ve learnt a lot and have been supported and have access to great facilities but the campus does feel very cut off and you have to travel to get anywhere outside of the campus

The facilities for music are amazing

The music department and the equipment is amazing. The worst part is probably the SISO department, they tend to not scan some of the equipment that’s handed back in and email me saying I didn’t take it back, this is quite a common experience

The modules I’ve done so far have been very simple and similar to my A - level teaching. A lot of the people in my modules aren’t even doing music tech so even the more interesting parts have to be diluted for the regular music students

It is very over priced. I’ve told reception 4 times about my clogged shower drain and they’ve not sent a plumber. If you get locked out the security guards can get angry at you, sometimes they just don’t show up and I have to go to reception again. The wifi just shuts off for days at a time.
