Work hard or else you fail, uni is not just for partying. You need to work very hard and get top grades to get a job. Do not come to uni if you are not a hard worker or think it a joke

You should go on Facebook before you come to join groups so that when you come you have at least a few people you know or can ask to show you about, find a third year buddy, it helps to have someone give you tips.
