Leeds Beckett is an amazing University. I’ve only been here since September but so far I’ve already made so many memories and made amazing friends for life. I’m currently studying music production in leeds school of arts and its amazing the facilities are brilliant and the advisors are really helpful whenever you need any support. The overall city of Leeds is just really good for your social life and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now.

Im currently studying music production. I’m currently in my second semester and I’m having a lot of fun with my course music is my passion so I’m glad I have the opportunity to pursue it even further. The facilities such as the studios and the rehearsal rooms are great and advanced and my advisors are always helpful whenever there’s something I’m struggling with.

The facilities for music students are great and most of the staff are helpful and friendly. It could be improved with connections to more international universities. In particular, it is hard to find study abroad opportunities as a music student as most of the unis that LBU has connections with are STEM based.

Most of the lecturers are very helpful and approachable and the Uni has lots of equipment for music students. However most information I have been given about career prospects has been general advice from the uni and so it is not relevant at all to my course.

The wifi drops out several times a day. The reception are rude and maintenance are unreliable. The rooms are nice but for how much it costs it isn’t worth it at all. People in this accommodation are just mean and loud in general.
