Campus is great, location is beautiful, but the hills and stairs have slowed me down before

The facilities at Falmouth Uni are incredible! With a dedicated online booking system, it makes booking out any equipment quick and easy. There have been a few times that I have needed to book a guitar amplifier out for a lesson the same day and I've been able to book and collect one within minutes. I've also used the same system to book out guitar pedals and given the option of some amazing gear. Gear that I would never usually be able to use. The rooms are also very well equipped, the control rooms has the option of plugging in my Macbook using one single cable which means I can use high end speakers to work on my mix/masters. There are multiple studios and although they are busy often, I have been able to book/use them on the same day. The lecturers/tutors are also full of knowledge and very approachable, I would definitely recommend Falmouth as a place to study, I can't imagine being anywhere else! The University is great, the campus is always clean, the gardens are beautiful and the facility staff/ cafe staff are friendly. If I had to pick something to be improved I would say the prices of food/ drinks could be subsidised to assist the financial strain. Even a selection of 'value' meals would be much appreciated, a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich was going to cost me £3.75 for just the sandwich...

The course itself has taught me so much already, the workshops are very hands on with the opportunity to use some high end equipment such as microphones. The tutors are full of knowledge and always around when you need them. There is a system where you can book 'office hours' with your tutor which allows you 15 minutes to have a 1 on 1 conversations easily, no more catching them when they're walking to class! You can have individual aid when needed. As for contact with lecturers, I have had good and bad experiences. Some lecturers have responded on the same day or within the expected 72 hours but some haven't replied at all even after multiple messages... However this was a small number of times so at this moment the majority of emails I have sent have been answered.
