Bournemouth is a humble town with great flashes of colour and inspiration. It is the perfect place to study for those who desire more of a tranquil environment to focus on their studies conversely to ‘big city’ life. Being from a warm place myself, seeing the beach and feeling warm weather throughout some of the academic year brings flashes of nostalgia. Bournemouth uni lecturers are all accomplished individuals and from my experience, seem like they care about teaching and their interests. I have been challenged on several occasions at BU to think further as a student and a human. BU Campus is quite a small one with room for improvement, I say this as many other campuses in the UK seem quite more advanced than Bournemouth’s talbot campus at the moment. Nevertheless, this being said, BU is quite a new university and it is at quite a good level regarding that fact. Student support for employability is fantastic, however at times i feel there is not enough clarity or communication for the course/assessments between the university and the students, leaving some students lost.

All in class learning allows for intimate environments in which students can question lecturers and educate themselves in a simple manner. Contact with lecturers could be better as at times emails are unanswered and the window for meetings is rather small. The course allows for great opportunities in the music industry and properly equips you for it, the content as well is challenging but simultaneously interesting.

perfect location for students, nearby shops and nightlife, bus connections to university very easy, extremely safe as on lansdowne campus (student area.) Only problem is costly aspect.

It is what I expected even more. So much to enjoy so far and being academically busy. A lot of opportunities to acquire new and to teach anyone you want and to be taught. Overall, people are broad-minded and that is precisely what I like.

The distance is excellent, although I take a walk, it takes, more or less, 30-40 mins.

Anyone can find something for themselves, without a doubt.

Least - more hours of studying when course moves higher. Most - Approach, diversity, informal communication, stressless, there is always a possibility to talk to lecturer, consequently life seems much easier.
