Good support but have heard people also say bad things. Beautiful lake and the ducks and pubs bring everyone closer as a community but is 60s concrete buildings. Library is VERY good as is King's Manor library in town - it's gorgeous. Excellent music facilities and others have said same about their own departments especially in Science courses.

Excellent.

Excellent heating, lots of en suites, close to other students. Halifax College is down an unlit walk which is unsafe and there was no bus available when I was there.

Fantastic university with outstanding staff support for students struggling to cope with the prospect of moving away and those not enjoying their time due to other reasons.

24/7 library Wifi accessible all over campus Free shuttle buses from west and east campuses

Fantastic student support service. Nightline is of use for many people who are in trouble or need help or advice out of hours.

York university student union are fantastic, holding special events and Freshers fairs.

A little drive away from the city centre gives a quieter environment, although this could be considered a good thing.

There are endless societies and clubs to join, from darts, music, sports, knitting and alsorts!

Great variety of courses and friendly lecturers.

York graduates enter into every field.

Great value for money.m
