great opportunities here including societies and on individual degree courses. The course im doing is great and has a great choice of modules. The lecturers are approachable and always wiling to help. Keele is safe and secure and the SU has a great nightlife, with bands coming to perform regularly like scouting for girls and chase and status.

Good, large library with lots of books to take out for the week to study. Mac computers with all the music software needed for my course are in the music building. Shop at the SU sells everything i need and i could do a week shop there if needed. L

I havent needed this yet myself but there are emails sent around about workshops put on and there is free counselling should anyone need it. We all have a personal tutor in our subject area and there is an electives help desk for anyone struggling with a module or needing to change anything.

Friendly environment with lots of venue's for events so there is always something for everyone. if we dont like the style of music in one bar we can just go to a different bar/club and party there!

Being in a village This is not really as relevant but the local surrounding towns (newcastle under lyme and stoke on trent) have a great selection of shops in the day time including the shopping mall at hanley. Also has some great Bars and Clubs for the nightlife. Hanley comes alive at night and is only about 40 minutes on the local bus.

Hundreds of societies to choose from which all have socials every couple of weeks. This is great for freshers as you get to know everyone really quickly. Most of the societies also have begginers classes or sessions so its easy to pick up something new.

Many employability fairs are put on to help guide us. Right from the start the subjects we study in lectures are linked to a field in the working world that we could think about if this subject interested us.

Accommodation is clean and safe. Fairly quiet after the noise carefew at 11pm.
