There are sometimes problems with contacting people for student support for personal tutoring, however once we are in contact they provide good support and answer all the questions I have! I think as well if there was more advertising for student career opportunities throughout the year as emails about it can be missed easily.

Sometimes when the lectures are just being read off of slides and it is all bulletpointed and in shorthand only it makes it really difficult to follow what they are saying

I liked the community feel of it but there were a lot of problems in the rooms and halls which were not fixed and if they were reported it took a while for it to get fixed

Good university for international students, very welcoming and friendly! A lot of events that are inclusive for everyone, which I find amazing. Also a lot of societies, there is one for everyone to join. The one negative about the university would be the lack of accommodation for second year, as halls aren’t provided and you have to find private accommodation. Overall, pleased with my choice to attend this university compared to others.

The lecturers are amazing at their job, and the coursework is quite easy to grasp even if you haven’t done A Level Psychology before. I find that attending the tutoring contact hours also helps a lot, as tutors are there to instruct you and help you figure out anything you may have an issue with.

It is quite a nice accommodation, but the walls are a bit thin and you can hear a lot of what happens outside of your room. The wi-fi signal isn’t that great and I find myself struggling to connect to it a lot of the times.
