I like the facilities offered, they are very modern and useful. But the student life is more complicated because of the size of the city it is difficult to make a community feeling, and because King's feels like an elitist university it can be very cliquey.

I like the fact that they help you to get a career. However, what I learned on my erasmus in Vienna was far more advanced and helpful than what they teach you here. Here I feel the teachers are too afraid, and need to have neutral content which makes it difficult to learn. It is a neoliberal institution.

It was ridiculously expensive, even more than renting your own flat with friends. I had to move because I lived with some horrible room mates and it was a bit traumatising, but at least the King's staff were helpful in my moving process. I knew people who had bed bugs and really uncomfortable rooms.

King’s strand campus is fantastic, so centrally located which makes coming to class more exciting. You definitely have to be more of a self-regulated and driven individual to balance living in London and it’s requirements (maybe having to get a job, high costs) with attending uni. Strikes have massively impacted our actual class time over the degree so far so it has been hard to pay the fees without feeling frustrated.

Second year we are back to all in-person classes which is great because I found it hard to learn online. All of my business modules are recorded and uploaded later which gives me the freedom to choose my own schedule without missing class. My schedule has always been pretty good and I manage to get all my classes over 4 days rather than 5. For our year abroad next year support feels limited and everyone feels a bit uncertain about what it’s actually going to look like. Lecturers are always really quick to respond and my language module leaders have always gone the extra mile to provide extra support.
