Things to improve include transport options to and from the university, as it could be better linked to some parts of Greater Manchester. Also more students discounts for local transport. Car parking needs a huge improvement as even arriving 30 min before lectures is not enough to find a spot. ALL car parks become full very quickly. Often this is also not displayed on entrance, so time is consumed looking around when a car count display might be really useful on entrance to avoid delays and confusion. Facilities are very good however cleanliness could be much improved as often dining and studying areas are quite dirty.

I feel that the quality of the course overall is satisfactory, the only thing that is not ideal is that we have very limited time in simulation suits to test and practice our clinical skills. This contributes to lack of self confidence before my placement starts. Also the time we are there we are not always directly supervised, so we might be doing something unsafe and not realise. While I understand that the practical skills will be actually learnt more in depth during placement, it would be better to practice more in a safe environment and get more direct feedback.

The university of Salford is overall a good place to study especially thanks to the great student support services, including academic advising, mental health support, and career guidance. Areas for Improvement: 1-The range and quality of food and drink options on campus could be better. More diverse and healthier choices on campus would be welcomed. 2-My course could benefit from better equipment in the simulation suites. Some students have expressed a desire for a more vibrant, connected campus culture and student community, with more opportunities for extracurricular activities and societies. 3-Free parking for students

Positive that the course is taught partially online/ partially in class, however I somehow find chaotic the progression of topics. There should also be more focus on anatomy and physiology in my opinion. Placements could also be better organised, with the option of choosing early /late shift rather than just long days /nights.
