The University of Derby is a fantastic place to study. The campus is always clean and well maintained.

The midwifery course is ever-improving their facilities, looking at new equipment that can aid in teaching. Tutors always have time for you. They're incredibly supportive and want you to be the best you can be. The lectures vary from practical to theory and give opportunities for all learning abilities to develop new skills.

Lecturers are supportive when facing external difficulties at home, both in person and over email if easier. It could be improved by funding more staff for the lecturing team as we have seen several members of staff leave due to lack of funding for their contracts to be extended.

The lectures are all in-person and are regular. It would be beneficial if there were more interactive facilities such as the birthing simulator.
