The location of campuses really has a big impact on the whole experience. It is really lovely to have an opportunity to study surrounded by the greatest historical buildings of the capital and truly never gets boring. Lecture theatres are lovely, teachers are great and the whole atmosphere makes me want to aim for another degree once I'm finished with Bcs. However, it does come with a high cost. Even if you pack your own lunches, only travelling to university costs £8/ day and this year lectures take place at the campus at least 4 days/ week. Central London also comes with high cost of non neccessary 'luxuries' such as a daily coffee. Healthcare students don't really have an opportunity to earn money on the side as practice placements make us unreliable workers elsewhere due to our unpredictable workload and inconsistent hours in practice. I reckon financial straining is the biggest downside.

Teachers have superior knowledge of the subjects and are easily accessible when needed. They are supportive and most of the times give clear guidance on assignments. University, however, could have better communication with us regarding clear plans and schedules. A lot of times scheduling changes last minute, or we don't get announcments in a timely manner.

It’s great place to study ,provides all the facilities needed and amazing tutors

My course was taught mainly on campus, had few online classes. Best part is had some amazing and supportive tutors , on the other side had couple of not so supportive tutors. Could improve as first year student , provide more support on academic writings such as essays. Had very minimal support and guidance on that. We had virtual drop ins however didn’t find it useful as it was short answered questions and not so in-depth . Would have been better to provide us examples of the expected academic writing and tutors to accept one look through of our draft writing to make sure we are on the right path.
