Strath is full of wonderful people and good lecturers. It’s issues lie with management. If you have problems on your course it is very difficult to get move around and get what seems like simple issues sorted. This is an issue people I have spoken to from every year and facility have experienced

Fun practicals, annoying lecturers unfortunately

Cleaners are really annoying, kitchen is small, but cheap and cheerful

It's a brilliant place for learning and socialising. It has a wide range of different courses applicable to many different subjects and fields of learning all culminating in a truly fantastic place to achieve the best of your abilities. It allows you to explore a wide range of opportunities through their vast number of societies and get to know a wide range of people that can support you through you university life all building a unique experience. There is nothing major that I would say is a glaring issue with the university as my time spent there has been an amazing experience shaping me up for future careers.

The course I am studying is a very broad course which puts very different knowledge to the test and by that it can be difficult for some but the opportunities that come from the course most definitely outshine the difficulty. You have more than enough support through online resources, lectures, tutorials and My Place forums which allow contact with lecturers and people available to help for anything you may be having problems with. So, in my opinion, this is a fantastic course that I would recommend to anyone both interested in both electronic and software engineering
