Student support offered by student union is great for all the students, however, the support for the international student by the university administration is often unsatisfactory, especially for international students and the supports offered by "International student support team". The location is excellent, right in the middle of city centre, but more calm side of the centre near the High Street.

The overall Lecturers and teaching quality get better as we progress to senior level of the course (tend to be taught by more experienced lecturers or those who went through teaching trainings). The facilities are satisfactory, however, it is slightly hard to get access to high functioning PC. There are not many internships available specific to the topics relevant to the mechanical engineering course.

Poor cleaning services. (e.g. cleanliness of fans in a kitchen) Expensive for shared flat in the relatively old buildings. You can get rooms with no sunshine as a room has only has north facing window and may be located in the corner of the two building perpendicularly next to each other.
