We are in the heart of East London, which isn't one of the nicest places to live. But it is cheap and there is a lot of culture in the area. Uni has always been supportive when help is required. Good student support services, very responsive to enquiries. There are 2 big libraries, one in the Whitechapel campus. Really love both of these libraries and the facilities that the university provides there.

Would probably benefit from more regular contact with a tutor of some kind. Sometimes you can feel a bit un-seen , as there are lots of students and a lot of online teaching. Other than this, have only positive things to say about the course content and delivery. Good materials included in lectures, great informative lecturers, lots of career prospects after completing this degree.

Floyer is in Whitechapel, right next to the Royal London Hospital. Great location for getting to lectures, but the alternative hall for medics (Dawson) is in a very nice area of London for quite a cheap price. In hindsight, it might be worth making the slightly longer commute to live in Barbican whilst you can, because you probably wont be able to again. Then after 2nd year, you can move back to the Whitechapel area if you would like to , where the cost of housing is more affordable. Having said this, Floyer is very convenient, and Whitechapel still has it's benefits too. The area is quirky, it's very close to shoreditch and aldgate, can easily cycle or get a bus into central london. Interesting area to live in. Depends on preference!
