As a medical student, everything is so spread out, since there's many campuses

Lectures can be monotonous and repetitive, or either contain to much information, or too little information that I tune off before they start giving the important info

It's outside the uni which makes it feel slightly isolated

When it comes to diversity in London, there is no better university than QMUL! I really appreciate how much effort the academics have put into decolonising my course so that the perspectives of minorities in healthcare are heard and addressed. I feel that they don't just say that they value diversity, they actually actively put in the effort to achieve their goal of being the most inclusive research-intensive institute in the world. My least favourite part of my experience is probably how it can sometimes take a lot of time for admin to get back to students seeking support. However, I think this is understandable considering how many students there are.

I really enjoy my course and I think the balance of online lectures and in-person practicals, placements, and workshops has been perfect. It takes the pressure off of commuters from having to travel a long way in just to attend 1 hour lectures and also leaves more time open for extracurriculars to help build your CV!
