it’s very difficult to rate 5/5 societies love the societies I have Learnt so much from them and has so much fun being in them. They have many unique societies like fencing, basketball, pole, houmous it’s great couldnt be greater 3/5 cohort as with any degree it’s filled with half egoistic people and half amazing people I’m glad I met 2/5 admin I’m sorry really mostly let’s me down most people who have been here for 7/8 years just say it’s the “georges way” and the main excuse from admin is it’s a small uni but there’s many small unis like aston and they have an amazing admin team. I can’t say it’s all bad but communication wise it’s definitely like beating around the bush half the time for answers to things like exams the future plans etc and when we get answers they’re pretty vague and confusing 4/5 lectures most of these guys are amazing 20% of lectures are irritating in some way or another: insanely long (1:30) too fast and poorly explained, just plain slide reading or poor organisation of slides and material for example having said one function of a drug on one slide and coming back to it ten mins later after covering other drugs on other slides. 4/5 facilities got everything you need in london just sometimes expensive to get to 3/5 location uni location is okay : many things to do if you have money to travel I’m struggling so I do not lol but if you do you can do anything. Tooting itself is not the best area it’s very busy and people just seem to be always in a rush. Just kinda bogs you down really especially in pandemic when you can’t go anywhere and it’s the only reaction you get.

Facilities are amazing at the moment can’t use much of it because of COVID but last year was great there’s a games room student bar basketball court many societies and it’s in london so many things to do

I don’t really know but my experience with support hasn’t been too good

The course and content itself is generally very good. There is maybe a small group of lecturers who do read completely from slides or have no clear structure to their lectures. There are recordings for every lecture except one particular lecturer who does not record because they are special. I do enjoy clinical skills. Anatomy wise last year was excellent and so has most of this year minus reproduction which has been awful one lecturer set out ten pages of questions for anatomy for us to find ourselves with no answers; when asked about the questions they implied we were lazy and would not do the work which is counterproductive nonetheless I haven’t done the work so fair enough but it’s medicine so like who has the time to be doing 10 pages of questions alongside 15 lecs a week and 120 lectures of revision. Clinical skills teaching is definitely most valuable; learning from other peers and getting a general vibe as to where you are is very motivating and helps me push harder. I also like being able to ask older yesrs teaching us advice and they have always made teaching less intimidating and have been the utmost helpful
