I was really enjoying my time in the university and experiemce of completing a PhD but COVID has diminished the fun of it somewhat. It has still provided me great experience but I have found working from home parricularly challenging.

More spaces for PhD students needed

Cardiff is a vibrant and welcoming city, with the University campus right at the heart. Student life and support here are top tier!

All Wales placement opportunities are fantastic for variety. The medicine course is has a heavily blended learning style, but I’d always appreciate more contact hours.

Room are pretty pokey but they do the job! There’s not actually a lot of facilities ‘on-site’ but, being in Cardiff, you’re not far from anything.
