Aston has great teaching and student support services. Only downside is the size of the medical school.

Good contact with lecturers and year leads.

Worst - Getting sent across the country for placement because only limited spaces were available in west midlands. Furthermore, not getting paid, not getting a bursary and having to pay for travel, rent and groceries myself. One of the worst - having to wait 4 weeks+ for grades to be released, definitely more than a month for exams results.

Teaching and everything is fine. Placement should be more readily available in the city we live in and not hundreds of miles away without getting paid or having any financial support.
