For medicine specifically, support is always available and staff truly care about students. Aston feels like a real community where everyone seems to know each other, which I like. However, the campus isn't that pretty and many societies aren't well marketed so if you don't seek them out you probably wouldn't even know they exist. Some societies could do more events too (aka MedSoc). Sports clubs at Aston are extremely active and fun though!

Most sessions are on campus which means everyday contact with staff, making it interactive and interesting. I love how we have tutorial groups so you learn with people you grow closer too, making the work more manageable. Lecturers also provide ample resources for learning and revision. On the other hand, timetabling can be disorganised at times. Quite a few times, lectures are moved or cancelled last minute when notice could have been given ahead of time.

Location is convenient as it's right on campus and near to city centre. Makes shopping and going out easier. Wifi is always fast, showers are always warm and kitchen is spacious with good facilities. Security could be better as main accommodation doors are often not secure.
