With Stirling being a campus university it creates a great community feel, the facilities available are incredible especially the sport facilities which I use regularly. They are always promoting a healthy lifestyle and the support I have received since starting has been amazing and helped me to succeed through my first semester.

The film and media staff have been incredibly engaging and having the macroberts arts centre such a focus point for Stirling university it only drives more enthusiasm into the course!

University of Stirling provides an exceptional experience in terms of its campus excellence and overall environment. Their dedication to students' wellbeing is commendable as they have plenty of resources dedicated to helping their students in a myriad of ways. The students' union holds hundreds of organisations and societies that are open to everyone and they offer something for everyone, depending on what you are interested in. Studying at Stirling has made me more confident in my skills and knowledge and I am honoured to attend such an excellent institution.

In the beginning of my studies, I had to adapt to online learning which wasn't very helpful. It took 2 years until we finally switched to in-person learning. Sadly, this has had its negative effect on my studies. Furthermore, the field of journalism is an exceptionally competitive one and it is increasingly hard to land a work placement or an internship. There isn't much help from the University as they have never offered work placements except for once in 3rd year, when I was studying abroad so I didn't even have the opportunity to experience that. There is too much independent study involved and way too much theory and not enough practice.

Everything was alright - location was okay, it was always warm and clean. Wi-Fi has never been an issue, the halls themselves are okay.
