It's genuinely fine. Maybe union could be bigger but then no one would go as wee already in the city centre.

It's a tough course so it's difficult which is fine

It's an older building so obviously some bits aren't the best but for what I'm paying I'm very happy

Teaching ranges hugely in quality. Course content appears mostly relevant, more so in later years of study. Lots of clubs and societies. Union not what it once was.

Many computer suites available and more appearing all the time with campus improvements. Recent refurbishments in the library and James weir building have made noticeable improvements. Some of the engineering facilities are at least industry standard and companies hire them out.

Again have not personally used but would know where to go if I was in need of support. There are various outlets for support offered depending on what the issues are. There are also advice services and voice helplines available.

When I started five years ago the Union was incredibly cheap and therefore incredibly popular. There would be queues out the door and down the street at least two nights a week. Unfortunately this is no longer the case as prices have gone up, money runs out, nights get less popular and stop running.

Glasgow is an amazing place to be a student. One of the cheaper cities in the UK and a great size as its not too small but in general you can get everywhere on foot or bike. Night clubs, bars and gigs to suit all tastes and just has a good buzz about it, a city with lots of character and I think often underrated or misunderstood by people who have not lived here.

Have not made use of these personally but have friends in sports teams and believe the clubs and societies to be quite well organised.

Wide range of courses, some more highly regarded than others. Equally lecturers also differ in quality, I have had some excellent lecturers and some very poor who appear to not like lecturing or dealing with students.

I suppose it depends on course but the engineering departments and I believe business school are highly regarded by companies in their respective industries.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in halls, they could be slightly more modern but I'm general they are not bad, kept clean and well maintained.
