Best so far I joining a sport I’ve never played before and the energy and social nights I’ve experienced, the worst is probably the weather and how fast deadlines approach when you’re busy

As a foundation student I think they’re doing very well mapping out every aspect making sure every topic is covered in-depth, I do currently feel alittle bi far ahead as I was lucky to take alevels but that can still be positive as it means I have plenty of space to settle in

Very comfortable , my hall mates are very tidy and we get along great and I’m only a 5 minute walk from campus and everything I need is within walking distance. Worst is sound proofing as living in hall blocks as a student people are always out late and if your windows are open you can hear every noise in the city til 4am, and the natural lighting in our dorms are a bit limited

Being so close to the sea allows for a great student life balance. To improve more support for individual courses would be appreciated and lecturers can be so overworked they struggle to help support problems.

Material is taught very well. For all courses, access to all material from the very start would be helpful to help get a head start as best as possible.

It’s hard to explain what type of person you are before you move in. I want up till 3 in the morning but I wasn’t in bed by 8. The online team allocated me a spot in the quiet halls which I found difficult to make friends with people similar to me. The area was kept quite clean and fire drills were conducted weekly which was reassuring.
