Northumbria university is brilliant for student life with lots of event and societies to help students improve their social life and settle in. The student union is great for students wanting to look for a new hobby and make new friends.

The mechanical engineering course provides the opportunity to learn skills through completing project tasks.

Firstly, personally for me Northumbria University has got both good international reputation and student support. It has the diverse student body and and a good reputation , attracting faculty. The university offers the comprehensive support services including counseling, career guidance, and academic assistance. Moreover, it also has modern facilities. The Northumbria University boasts the sate of the art facilities, that includes well equipped laboratories, library, and study spaces, enhancing the learning experience. Finally the most attractive about Northumbria University for me is that it has endorsed academic excellence and has got many industry connections. Northumbria University is known for its high quality teaching, research and strong academic programs. The university is collaborated with industry partners, providing students with valuable networking opportunities and real world experiences. In my opinion, Northumbria could be improved by strengthening more in career services and introducing more innovative teaching methods. University should develop stronger partnership with employers and industries to provide students with more internship and job opportunities. It should also explore more innovative teaching methods, including online learning tools to enhance engagement and learning outcomes for students.

Most of the course are taught in the class. However, there are also classes especially in Engineering related courses, some of the courses are divided into two section. One is seminar and another one is Workshop. Seminar is basically introducing and guiding the theoretical while workshop is to utilize the theoretical which are taught in the class so that students can visualize the outcome and fully understand the course that is being taught in the class. In some occasional cases, the classes are also being taught online when the tutor has some issue with personal cases. The worst part of being taught in the class which I have experienced is that in some of the classes, the tutor just read the slides without proper explanation which gives students abit disappointment.
