Best aspects: Good facilities with a modern feel. Lots of study spaces. Improvements: Boring student life.

The course content is good, and the progression from years 1 to 3 was easy to adapt to. In particular, the CDIO projects are practical and combine knowledge from all modules. I have heard that there will be curriculum changes next year- a unified first year for all engineering disciplines. Most lectures are recorded, so it is easy to catch up on them. The blended learning makes it easy to be flexible, and the contact hours are good. Lecturers are helpful and usually respond promptly. The facilities are good, and provide lots of equipment for practical experiments. I would prefer compulsory, in-person lectures, as I feel they help with course engagement and enable social interactions within the cohort. The online content disincentivises attending university, especially for those with longer commutes. Some of the lecturers do not have clear accents, making it harder to understand the taught content. A greater emphasis on internships and placements, especially in year 2, would greatly improve career prospects. However, I felt that there was not enough support or encouragement to find one.
