The campus is beautiful, and there are so many places to study, or just sit and socialise with some friends. The societies provide a brilliant way to meet new people (Especially for first years such as myself!), and there really is one for everyone. (Knitsoc for the win) My subject itself has been good. The content is brilliant, but there has been a noticable lack of enthusiasm is some of my lecturers. I do know that my studies in university are self guided, and a teacher having an off day is, of course, fine! The library cafe has been one of my favourite places to study by a mile. It feels quite low-key early on in a morning, so you can sit with your coffee and bang out a couple of hours before your day gets too manic. Later on though, you will be lucky to find a free table. The collegiate system is wonderful, and the architecture of each college brings a different feel to it and adds to its personality. I am in Constantine, but I walk through other colleges daily to get to my lectures, and I can say confidently that they all have a homely feel to them. Apart from Halifax perhaps..!

It's all in person, but they upload lecture recordings online so you can catch up if you happen to be ill. Most of the lecturers are fantastic, and are a pleasure to talk to and find out about their fields of study.

-Very expensive! -Lovely people, but definitely better for the people who prefer a night in to a night out. -Constantine has a name around university and it's not necessarily a good one. People have seemed to make some pre judgements about me because I stay here! -Brilliant forum -STYCS (Second/Third year contacts) are incredible and I love them! Freddie Newell in particular has been fab -Very close to Ron Cooke Hub -great for late night study

Some of the buildings around the university are a bit ugly, but the interiors are furnished very nicely inside. All the supervisors and lecturers are easy to talk to and will listen to any questions or queries which I have. The sports facilities are very nice, with a wide range of sports to play at a college or university level

I study mathematics, so most contact hours are lectures or supervised online assessments. The lecturers, supervisors and seminar leaders are all high quality, and the rooms that we use for different activities are all high quality

Any Issues I have within my accommodation get fixed rapidly, and it is close to my subject buildings. The price seems a bit high but my accommodation is catered, and the food is high quality
