For me, the best aspects of university life are the opportunity to make friends, the excellent facilities, and the convenience of traveling from home since it’s not too far (though the hill is really a challenge!). I also enjoy the student union and engaging in society activities, which make the experience more enjoyable. However, I feel there are areas that could be improved. The teaching quality could be better, as some lectures are overly long and can become tiring. My timetable is also quite packed-Mondays and Tuesdays, for example, run from 9 to 3 without breaks, which can be exhausting. Additionally, I wish there were more career development and job application preparation resources available on MyPlace.

The best aspects of the course are its intensity, which motivates me to work harder, and the balanced assessment structure that includes assignments, class tests, and final exams. The accounting lecturers are approachable and easy to work with, and the accounting tutorials are engaging and helpful. However, there are areas that could be improved. Some lectures are very long and can feel tiring, and the statistics tutorials are often unhelpful compared to the accounting ones. Additionally, the packed timetable can be exhausting, and there are very limited opportunities for practical industry exposure provided by the university or course coordinators.

Birckbeck court experience was really nice as it was very convenient to get to classes from the halls. Was able to make good friends. However, the rooms felt very small and shared bathrooms weren't always looking good.
