The city of Nottingham is is a great city for students due to the number of students there. This means that many places are tailored towards students offering discounts and cheap things. The sports facilities are great and there are plenty of clubs to join. It would be nice if the university would listen to the pleas of the lecturers in the ongoing conflict surrounding pension to prevent lectures being cancelled due to industrial action.

The 3rd year group project module is great as it provides us with the opportunity to learn other useful skills aside from our course. In second year I think it would be better to have the modules split across the year the same way it is done in third year to reduce the number of exams in summer.

I liked that the hall was catered as it was a great way to meet new people at the start of the year. The hall is quite a long way from town though and does mean it can be hard to get back to after a night out.

The maths building and library is amazing areas to work in and are great to study in quiet areas and group working areas. The only improvement could be more individual group work rooms

The best aspects have been the support form the university and the lectures throughout my time. The location is ideal and the facilities are amazing. The only bad aspect of my experience was how during covid the online support was limited

The room was great with a new kitchen that has all of the appliances needed. The only bad thing was a broken fire alarm that went off every night at 3am
