Student union has had a massive makeover in 2022 with new section built. This was a big improvement to the already good SU which is a big center for nightlife in the university. CU facilities in general not impressive. University is well integrated into city living.

Broad range of module option choices for different pathways pure and applied. High impact career and prospect teams for mathematics, forever sent opportunities for potential graduate job positions. Facilities aren't really applicable for math students but good study spaces in the new ABACWS building. Lecturers have consistent office hours and usually even make time out of that. Personal tutor has responded to emails whenever sent and consistent meetings.

Talybont north is on the upperbound of walking distance. wifi in halls is very good with good upload and download speeds that were consistent with little to no downtime. Room allocation was very poor and was put into a 6 person housing with only 2-3 other people. small rooms. Expensive for what it is, but halls are necessary for first years for socialising.

Love Cardiff in general. Such a good uni/student life

Mostly taught in class. Lots pf hours and heavy work load

Good accomodation
