I studied my undergrad at Cardiff Met and loved it so much I decided to stay for masters. It’s got the perfect balance of big city and community feel. Student life in Cardiff is great, and the university offer so much support that I genuinely enjoy studying. Overall just the best experience I could have wished for!

The course is fantastic, however I feel that Cardiff lacks opportunities for fashion students in comparison with other UK cities which makes it difficult to gain industry experience alongside the course.

I lived living here during my 1st year of uni which was sadly cut short by the pandemic.

As a January new starter, naturally I would be among the few, but I came in as the sole January starter to join the September group. It has been very exciting however I haven’t received as much guidance or induction as I would have expected, especially at Masters level. I believe the lecturers probably ‘expect’ me to know, because they prioritized September starters. Otherwise I am very happy with the university so far and I am sure it will get easier as I get to grips!

I think it’s really great that the fashion students have a private and dedicated study room, with Apple Macs.
