The location is definitely a plus for me. Being so close to the beach really helps with all the stress and anxieties. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. It’s such a an overall positive place which made it extremely easy to feel at home and find the right friends for me. There is not much to be improved however in student centres to learn there could be more comfortable seating such as individual pods which I have seen at other universities. Another thing that could be improved is to do essay structure seminars so that it can be easier in the future to know how to structure essays instead of cluelessly jumping in deep water.

My course is taught in class. With all lectures and seminars being held in person. This makes it easy to get more time to ask questions if anything is unknown or struggling with anything.

It is a great location as it is close to all the lecture halls and seminars however it is very far from actual Brighton town so travel is necessary to get into town which is not very cost effective. The accommodation itself is very comfortable, with everything needed being provided and it feels very homey. I would say compared to some universities it is a bit on the pricier side however was definitely worth it for a fabulous first year student life full of university experiences. A suggestion I would give is possibly adding a few cheaper alternatives for food shops on campus as currently there is only one- Co op and it is one of the most popular expensive Co ops in the UK which is not fitted for a student budget.
