Best is all of the fun opportunities of try something new such as active sports and the pop events that help meet more people like you. my course offers great opportunities such as getting to know agency i would want to work in. Bad side would be how flat mates can be tricky to handle when you can't choose them.

The room is spacious for a single room , cosy and lots of storage, There are some parts of Telford that should be replacement such as the piping in my first year my bathroom had faulty leak due to piping faults. The kithen is quite small can be cramped at times.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Herts studying Graphic Design Advertising & Branding! Coming from a place with little experience I feel like I’ve developed in all aspects exponentially from day 1. The tutors were always there to help and ready to listen and feedback. Even since leaving uni they have offered their help in looking at my portfolio and references etc. My first year was during covid which was the only negative aspect as I feel it hindered my progress in more physical design but the facilities are available in the workshop to do it yourself as I did some laser printing in my third year as well as printing large posters. I’ve made so many friends on and off my course due to the social and team based activities provided here. Yes, you have to use your own initiative and learn skills in your own time which is challenging, however, if your motivated and determined there is no reason you cannot flourish on this course.

The course works best in person, I had to get accustomed to online learning during the pandemic and I did struggle. However meeting guest lecturers from across the field helped me realise the possibilities that stem from this learning experience. I’m a very practical learner so if possibly if I was more aware of in-person software tutorials I could have improved my software skills further. On the other hand, any specific questions I had were always answered and demonstrated.
