I would definitely suggest potential students to apply for a place in Uni of Exeter.Overall uni can be ranked high. It has a positive environment for studying. Staff is qualified and friendly. Lectures are mostly interesting. Classrooms and lecture theaters are big, modern, technically equipped and comfortable. Campus is very green and full of beautiful flowers, bushes, trees. The halls are all close to Studying buildings. Accommodations are mostly new, well furnished and cleaned. Catering option is also available. A new innovative gym was opened this year, which is the best campus gym in Europe. The city of Exeter is small, but VERY beautiful. Location is obviously an advantage. Many small riverside towns are close to Exeter, so you can visit them during weekend, doing wind riding.City life is not that rich, just a few clubs and small restaurants. However people here a very nice. A multicultural uni gives you an opportunity to find new friends and enjoy your staying in Exeter. Uni building themselves are eye candy, all modern and new. Overall it is a perfect place to focus on studying, so that nightlife won't distract you every single night from your main goal -getting a degree.

Worst: Covid-19 being trapped in first year accommodation and not being able to meet new people Best: being involved with the societies

Worst: Academic Tutor support could be alot better, seem they only give support if you have a real tangible problem rather than just general advice about how to navigate the pressures of uni and beyond Best: Lectures are usually engaging and interesting and the assessments encourage me to think beyond what I already know

The halls themselves are good but unfortunately I was there during lockdown so it was a bit of a miserable experience. The windows only open a tiny amount which is rather depressing
