This has several benefits that have contributed to my positive experience as a student. One of the key advantages of my campus countryside location is the low cost of living. Unlike big cities where accommodation and general living expenses can be astronomical, my university's rural location provides affordable options for housing, food, and transportation. This has allowed me to manage my finances more effectively and focus on my studies without the added stress of financial strain. Furthermore, safety is a major concern for students when considering a university, and I am pleased to say that my campus location is safe to live in. The low crime rate and supportive community make it easy for students to feel secure and comfortable, even when walking home late at night. While public transport in the countryside can be limited, I have found that my university provides adequate transport options for students to get around. The university operates its shuttle bus service, which makes getting to lectures and other activities more convenient. However, students who prefer to explore further afield may need to rely on private transport or be prepared to spend more time traveling by public transport. Despite not having many graduate or part-time job opportunities, my university provides ample opportunities for entrepreneurial graduates. The countryside location is ideal for budding entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and start their businesses. It has great facilities and has two locations for campus. The Edinburgh campus and the Scottish Borders campus. Since I stay in the Scottish Borders campus, I can only speak for that aspect. The Scottish Borders campus is beautiful, spacious and accommodations are much much cheaper than the Edinburgh campus. The professors are welcoming and approachable. The student Union is very active. They actually listen to your complains and suggestions. There isn't much of a social life because Galashiels (the location of the campus) is a small and quiet town with lots of old people, so most students have to go to Edinburgh to have social activities. Edinburgh is 1hr away by train and it's 11.10 pounds each ride. The town centre is walkable and accessible from mostly anywhere. Overall, it's a peaceful place if you don't like the city.

My course doesn't require placement and internship, however, it has great career prospects. The professors are really nice and they listen to your complains and are able to really explain whatever you do not understand. It is also really easy to reach out to them and make contact because of the school portal. The teaching quality is also really good as well as the teaching facilities. My course has a lot of digital aspects to it so it's really good for people in tech and graphics.

Everything about the halls is great, except for the money. It's really too expensive to be honest. Yes, I agree that the other amenities are great and top notch, but still, if they could reduce the money by at least 100 pounds, it would be the best option to stay in during your stay. Another downside of the halls is that once a contract is signed, it's is really difficult to break it. You can't decide half way in that you found a cheaper place and want to move out. They won't let you.
