University of Bradford is a amazing place to study, the fine blend of academics ,social and cultural activities produces an well rounded graduate. The student support and career development support, specifically the career booster programme, fully equips students with industry skills to compete in the corporate world. UOB is an inclusive and diverse community, fully embracing every individual from all walks of life. Academically, all our modules are of premium standards, with several free resources at our disposal, which makes studying a breeze. Our module leaders and lecturers are the sweetest, the operate an open door policy, very accessible and willing to help, guide and advise us. Ideally, University of Bradford is of great repute and it is quite difficult to point out lapses. Few areas that could be improved would be making student apparels and stationeries available all through the academic year, reducing shortage of supplies. Also, increasing optional module choices to accommodate more relatable areas of interest. A needs analysis can be done, to get accurate information on modules preferred by students.

My course was taught in class, I however would have loved any lecture after 3pm to be online. Also, some courses could have been online ,but tutorials and seminars should remain in class.

No

Best - staff and student festival Worst - lack of individually assigned space to PhD students. Using the general area you have to pack your books, papers etc every day and take home

Lack of in depth training for quantitative research. There is lack of expertise to train in the use of softwares such as Stata which is needed for data analysis. The University does not subscribe to database such as WRDS which is uses by top tier universities. This limits the opportunity to conduct certain research topics. The amount of tuition charged for the PhD course of study in the School of Management compared to what students receive in terms of training, facilities and overall experience is not in sync.
