The only thing I’d complain about is how covid has negatively affected my experience of uni at this age and really put everything on hold for a while, even studies included at times. Otherwise, though, my overall student experience of UOW so far is fantastic.

Everything is nearby and always clean. I’ve lived in campus accommodation too and never had a problem there! The security are great too. The city of Worcester is a brilliant place to be surrounded by, also.

Mental health and course support are always available and usually really easy to get, too. It really does make you feel valued and cared for by the uni.

Other than sometimes being dismissive of your concerns they’re often very good at communicating with you and teaching in a really cool and interesting way.

Since I’m not in my final year, yet, I haven’t had much information of post grad job possibilities but I know it is talk about in the final year a lot.

Good social life, I’ve made some lovely friends. I feel interested in my course. I definitely reckoned Worcester Uni. The personal feel in lectures and around campus makes the whole university experience so much nicer.

It would be nice if the SU bar hosted more regular events and people were encouraged to go there a bit more. Student representation is good.

Yes everything is close by. Not far into the city centre and Aldi is about a 10 minute walk away. There’s a bus stop on campus and buses run regularly if you don’t want to or are unable to walk.

There’s pretty much everything but membership can be expensive!

Can sometimes feel monotonous and not challenging enough. I like the fact it’s a relatively small uni so teaching is more personal and you’re not sat in a huge lecture theatre. Lecturers actually know your name!
