Trying to get assistance with an issue like switching subjects or even just asking a question, it’s all done online. There’s hardly any human interaction, making it harder to get real help. It took me 3 weeks to switch subjects, 8 days after I initially requested to switch I finally got a response: “we can’t read your form please resubmit it”. It took them over a week to tell me this. I understand it gets busy because of all the students attending the uni but I feel like the student’s assistance is a flawed system that desperately needs updating

My lecturers are all very passionate about the subjects they teach, making the lessons that much more enjoyable and engaging. Being taught a topic the teachers also like is very important to me and has massively helped me with my first semester so far

The building is great, the only issue is the noisy upstairs neighbours (boys) yuck!

I think the staff are extremely supportive and are always on hand to help. I find my course extremely interesting and look forward to choosing from the extensive list of modules for next year.

I like how each lecture provides enough information to get you interested in a subject, but allows you to go and research it in more depth.

I think generally it is worth the price. I have found second year accommodation which is in the same bracket. Silver fish are a problem though!
