The range of buildings/facilities for studying in are top quality at the University of Sheffield. Potentially more tables could be added in the Wave, as there is so much space that hasn’t yet been used.

I love how much opportunity there is for contacting your lecturers- it doesn’t feel like you’re alone if you’re struggling with an assignment. Sometimes reading materials can be difficult to get hold of if they can only be found online - more access to various sites might help this.

I loved the safety and environment of Ranmoor. My flat was significantly less aesthetically appealing than others’ flats (even though we were paying the same amount of money), so I would say the value for money felt slightly inconsistent.

I have really enjoyed my time in sheffield. I enjoy the city and the university. I find my course is really diverse and engaging. I found this was more true in the second and third year. At sheffield there is incredible opportunities to get involved with the wider community offered by the union. I think our student union is great and me and my friends spend lots of time here and at the information commons. I think the job prospects could be more detailed and i will use the careers service eventually because i do not know one hundred percent about my future after gaining my degree. When applying for university include all extra curricular activities! Good luck i would recommend shefield university.
