Bangor is simply a great place to be, filled with community and the opportunity for unique experiences and events.

As a PhD, I rely heavily on a physical study space to complete my research. Bangor is working toward providing more of these but at the moment they are somewhat limited. I also rely on my supervisor and I had some issues in the beginning with receiving a response from them, but that has changed since I spoke to them.

The wifi is extremely unreliable.

The department for Mental Health Wellness takes an extremely long time to get back to students wanting to make appointments. Additionally, many students would benefit from more work study oppurtunities.

I think the uni would benefit from more intern and work placement opportunities for students in the humanities, as those have not existed at all in my time here, though I know they do for science studies.,

When I first moved in, the heating was not working at all. The fan filter in the shower is also absolutely filthy to the point where I am worried it will catch fire as it is covered completely in lint. The wifi does not work in the common areas, like the kitchen. The shower is also almost too small for a human being, as I am unable to even stand with one elbow out without touching the wall.
