The Student life and Support is great - there are plenty of societies to try out, a great sports centre on campus, a cinema and musical corners. The Student Support Services are always very kind and patient and do their best to help out.
The town itself isn't a party centre, but is a short train ride away from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The lecturers, especially for my course, are all really enthusiastic about their subject, lead engaging conversations and set ambitious, yet interesting assignments. They make sure that each seminar involves every student sharing their ideas and opinions and ask all the necessary questions.
The only things I can think could be improved are not really from the educational side- there are constructions being led, and have been led consistently across different parts of the campus for the past five years. Don't get me wrong - the campus is brilliant, beautiful, but there hasn't been a year where everything is fully open for the past five years. Other than that, the food outlets on campus are not the best, but there have been concrete efforts made in order to change this this upcoming year. As we were led to understand, the food places will be much better by next semester.

All of my course seminars are in person, with materials to complete before the seminars being a variety of online reading, recorded lectures, and self-study. We get about 8 - 10 hours with our lecturers per week, and then break off to do our studying with peers after hours.
The Canvas page is well organised and clear, although at times not all links work and need to be flagged up with our lecturers. They respond quickly and help every time.
Not all textbooks are available in the library, which is a small annoyance - most of them are, and the single one that isn't was also unavailable in Stirling bookshops.

University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
I am lucky that we have two fridges and two freezers for 7 people. Most halls have less. We also lacked bedsheets, a toaster and iron when we moved in, as they have been recently taken off the items provided by the university accommodation. The washing and drying machines in my halls are free, which cannot be said for a number of the other accommodation spots.
From positives, it is warm, heating and internet are provided, the lights and appliances work or are promptly fixed/exchanged when flagged up as issues. The fan in some of the bathrooms is obnoxiously loud, but I think it's more of a question of particular fans rather than a general issue.
Accommodation staff are kind and helpful, someone comes in to do a general clean every three weeks. One can also opt for a quiet flat (longer quiet hours and no alcohol) and mixed or one-sex flats.
