Good range of opportunities and services, for example the students health service is very well organised and the staff are excellent. The Russian department in particular is extremely dedicated to language learning - seminars and external opportunities are provided with care and attention. However occasionally the campus can be hard to navigate I believe some of the funding is misplaced for example the decor in the students union although very nice seems extravagant.

The structure of the ab initio Russian course is thorough and clear. Language learning is made accessible through the clear way that the elements are broken down. The lecturers are very dedicated and caring. The French language teaching is not as appealing and could be made more engaging. Culture modules are generally taught in a well structured way and developed appropriately in seminars. More group discussion should be encouraged

Great location, clean, enough space, good outside space, good maintenance team and good cleaners. Heating should be able to be individually regulated.

my advice to students thinking of choosing Bristol university would be to make the most of services offered by the university explore the city and get involved in clubs and fun activities I would change more contact hours for beginners in language students and the cafe in the art faculty Others should choose this university and my course because it is a fun city and good university, choose a year abroad
