The facility’s are all around very good, as I’m on the law course I don’t spend a lot of time in the smaller building but the modern building are very good large and convenient, and the older historical buildings like fox hill house look very nice. The Unis location has no issues other than the fact it’s at the top of huge hill and my Accomodation is at the bottom but it’s not an issue apart from when I’m trying to rush to a 9am lecture. The worst part is the student life but that is just because Reading as an overall location is rather boring and has sub-par clubs, with the student union actually being better than the clubs in town.

There isn’t a lot of contact time with tutors, their is a STAR mentorship scheme with people in higher years but they use it as a CV feeder and once they have established contact they don’t do anything. But there is no real need for time with tutors as a first year and any questions you have will easily be answered by a email to a lecturer.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
The Uni sent me to Kendrick halls owned by homes for students, the rooms here are fairly nice and security is good but we pay £30 per week more than the other accommodations for smaller rooms, but we don’t get cleaners in our common areas like kitchens whereas the Accomodation on campus do
