Best aspects of my university experience: Studying the LLM Law at the University of Wolverhampton has been a valuable and enjoyable experience so far. The lecturers are very supportive and approachable, always willing to explain complex topics and provide helpful feedback. The learning materials and online legal resources are excellent and make research much easier. I’ve also appreciated the diversity among students, which creates an inclusive and engaging learning environment where different perspectives are shared and respected. Areas for improvement: One area for improvement would be providing more structured guidance on academic writing, referencing, and expectations for postgraduate work, especially for international students. Communication about timetables, assessments, and module updates could also be shared earlier to help with better planning. Finally, offering more networking events or guest lectures with legal professionals would make the course even more practical and career-focused.

Best aspects of my course: The LLM Law course has been well-structured and intellectually stimulating. The lecturers explain complex legal theories clearly and are approachable whenever I need clarification or guidance. The blended learning format works well — combining in-class discussions with online resources and activities provides flexibility while maintaining engagement. I particularly appreciate the interactive teaching style, which encourages debate and critical thinking. The course materials and access to legal databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis are also very helpful for independent study and research. Worst aspects / Areas for improvement: At times, communication about timetables, lecture updates, and assessments could be clearer and shared earlier to help with planning. Some online sessions could also be made more interactive to keep students more engaged. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more workshops or practical sessions focused on legal writing, research methods, and employability to strengthen practical skills alongside theory.
