I've been having a lot of fun! I was genuinely frightened to being with that I wouldn't make any friends (because I'm a matgure student and leave off campus) and scared that i would miss a lot of 'fun events'! There's something for everyone! My enjoyment of university, I think, im[roves my learning ability as I feel well supported by my teachers and peers and I feel happy to actually wake up in the morning to go to university!

UEA's facility overall is quite good! We have law clinic to attend pro bono works, lecture theatres big enough to handle a good amount of students, food fair every thursday, The Kitchen that sells food to get you by!, perfectly placed vending machines throughout the campus, gender neutral toilet because it's all about inclusivity, Sainsbury's centre to just connect you to art, Olympic size swimming pool and track and field just because, and bunnies everywhere! However, I would be critical of their gym as it's quite small and it gets RIDICULOUSLY BUSY during peak time! They really need to sort their gym out.

We have seminar regurlarly which gives us chance to talk to our teachers about problems regarding the course. This also enable us to learn how to apply what we've learned in lectures to a problem. Also, academics reply quite efficiently when you email them regarding a quesiton!

SU does well in its student representation and facilities. While there are some improvement needed in some areas, members of SU are open, welcome, and acknowledge feedback and criticism. They give everyone a voice (from BAME to first years to EVERYONE!) and encourage everyone to talk to their representative and advisors if there are problems in their course or university life.

It is far enough from the city that students get to enjoy nature while also close enough (15 minutes by bus) that students can still have fun. UEA's shops are also good as you honestly don't need to leave campus to get everything that you need. There are tons of parks, pubs, restaurants, and attraction on the immediate area where UEA. On top of that, UEA has it's own broads so you could go for a run or walk whenever you feel that your coursework is getting a bit too much!

There are tons of societies in sports (i think over 250, don't quote me on that). The societies are fairly active when it comes to social meet ups and clubs meet every week (more than once depending on your club). Your co-members also look out after you. Networking is on point at UEA! Also, they have the ziggurat challenge. It's a friendly sport competition between schools to enhance team building, fitness, and just distract you and keep you sane from all the reading and learning!

We have freedom to learn whenever it suits us however, because of not a lot of contact hours, it teacher me to self-study. I think this is a life skill on the profession I would possibly pursue because I don't think I'll have a mentor (or teacher) teaching me everything throughout my entire life!

UEA does well in careers department. Every week (in law and I'm only first year), there is employability talk to help prepare students for work. These talks also help us decide what we professions we would like to do in the future. UEA also has job fairs (two so far!) and does well with its connection locally. I have been given a chance to marshall a judge which would help me in future. Also, UEA has ambassadors which they employ, and pay for nearly £10!, around the student's timetable so this gives the students the chance to learn life skills and money without the pressure of their shifts clashing with their timetables!

The food is great and lots of places to go and study however the busses are unreliable and inconsistent making commuting to university difficult.
