Bristol is both a beautiful university and city, with great historical and modern buildings. I especially enjoy having seminars in Wills memorial building. There are numerous libraries and study spaces, with cafes and social spaces. I personally enjoy going to dance classes with dance society and have recently joined yoga society. I feel that the range of societies means there's something for everyone! The Student Union could improve by making people more aware of the events it is holding, as often people just dont realise something is happening. Sometimes tutors are not very clear when explaining how topics relate to each other or what the exam requirements are. A lot of my peers feel there could be more support with applications for schemes and general career advice.

Most lecturers are clearly passionate and dedicated, and outline the content clearly and concisely. However, sometimes it is unclear how the lecture relates to a topic and some lecturers are not very engaging. At times seminars seem to just consist of students repeating their work with minimal feedback or input from the tutor, so it may feel like we haven't learned a lot from the seminar. It was also a shock that there are a lot less contact hours than other courses. However, I find the content to be very interesting and the way it is taught is enjoyable overall.

The location is very good as it is near Wills memorial and walking distance from libraries, shops and clubs too. However, the downside is that there are big steps nearby which can be tiring. My view is of the carpark, which is not the best, but I am still lucky as I am on a higher floor and at least have some sunlight. The rooms are quite small but very modern and cozy. The facilities generally work well.
