In challenging circumstances, I still feel pleased with my academic achievements. Overall, the law course can be delivered fairly easily online. Cardiff is a great place to live and study, even during lockdown.

Some of my buddies have had serious problems this year and have not felt supported by the uni. There is a tendency to delegate wellbeing to societies and the SU, which has been problematic during lockdown.

Blended learning has mostly worked well, and the tutors are getting better with the software. I've enjoyed the content and structure of the course. Obviously the reading is heavy, but you expect from a law degree Careers services are more geared towards high street/regional law firms rather than national or city. Many of my peers are extremely capable and ambitious; I'd expected more from a Russell Group uni.

Placement year is available but only for high street firms. It would benefit from diversifying and forming partnerships with more commercial firms. Although there is an option to organise your own placement, this would be very difficult.
