My experience studying LLB (Hons) Law at Buckinghamshire New University has been extremely positive. The lecturers are very supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to explain things clearly, which has made the course enjoyable and easy to engage with. They provide real-world examples and practical guidance that help make complex legal topics easier to understand. The High Wycombe campus has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are good, and there are plenty of spaces to study or relax between classes. The student life is active, and it’s easy to meet new people, even with a demanding course like law. The Students’ Union also runs useful events and activities that help students get involved. Overall, I’ve had a really good experience. The university is supportive, the environment is positive, and studying law here has been both rewarding and motivating. A few areas could always be improved, such as expanding study spaces during busy times, but generally I’m very happy with my time at bucks new university

The course hours are manageable, and the workload is well organised, giving enough time for independent study. The lecturers are one of the best aspects of the course. They are knowledgeable, supportive, and easy to approach whenever I need help or clarification. They explain difficult legal concepts in a simple way and often use real cases to make the lessons more engaging. Feedback on assignments is also helpful and detailed. The subject facilities, such as the library and study spaces, support the course well, although they can get busy during peak times. Having more quiet study rooms would be an improvement. Sometimes communication about deadlines or timetable changes could be clearer, but overall the course is well run and professional. Overall, I feel the law course is well designed, the teaching quality is excellent, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed my experience so far.
