A very friendly, supportive university which offers lots of job opportunities and international opportunities. The facilities are very good and the library being open open 24 hours a day 365 days a year is really beneficial to able to access resources and have a place to do independent work.

Though I didn't know much about Plymouth before I came here I absolutely love it and can't imagine being anywhere else.

Though Plymouth is slightly more casual, there is still a variety of clubs and bars as well as the student union.

Societies are very well run and easy to get involved with.

With guest lecturers and a variety of topics lectures have been consistently interesting and engaging. Seminars are very useful with interpretations of texts and help with essays etc.

Extracurricular activities are encouraged even in the first year, and study abroad has been very easy to get involved with. The university seem committed to helping you realise how many opportunities there are available.

I chose Astor House as my accommodation because there wasn't very much difference in price with other halls, yet a large difference in quality. This building has only been open for a year and it really adds a level of comfort to the new environment.
