The location and opportunities are great. The English department staff are particularly excellent, engaging and knowledgeable. The university’s sense of community is sometimes lacking and underdeveloped. Greater priority needs to be placed on caring for the students and staff at King’s, not just what looks good to outsiders.

My course is overall extremely enriching, thorough, and has provided me unexpected skills beyond academia. More in person and ‘compulsory’ contact with staff and other students would be good to get more out of the studying experience.
